Fashion doesn’t exist in a vacuum—it’s shaped by everything from sports and music to pop culture and current events. With so many intersecting forces influencing the industry, staying informed can feel overwhelming.


To bridge that gap, I created Ecosystem Update, a weekly, self-produced series hosted on my platform, The Safety Pin. I manage the entire process, from researching and scripting to filming, editing, and publishing across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and Facebook.


This project has allowed me to sharpen core skills like trend reporting, content strategy, and time management—while rediscovering my love for journalism. It’s also helped me better understand what resonates with audiences and how to adapt accordingly.


Ecosystem Update is an ongoing project, and it reflects my commitment to staying plugged in, making connections across disciplines, and creating relevant, engaging content for the fashion space.
